Cleal Cleans up at the Final S & B Automotive Academy Blue Challenge Round and Duncan McLeod Wins the Series.

Congratulations to all the drivers at Forest Edge for some fantastic racing at the Finale of the S & B  Automotive Academy Blue Challenge Series.
Anthony Cleal dominated at Forest Edge.  His pole to flag win secured him 2nd place in the Series. Second on the day was Jake Calvert, who with 5 points maintained his 3rd place in the Series. Third on the day was Mitch McLeod.  His 8 points scored allowed him to hold off the Series Challenge of Toby Cook.   Despite finishing 16th in the Final,  Duncan McLeod won the overall  S &  B  automotive Formula Blue Challenge by virtue of an untouchable points lead going into the final round.
Duncan McLeod also claimed three of the sub-classes,  Master, Veteran & Top weight.
It is Cleal and Paul Dible who finish behind him, in the first two sub-groups and Mitch McLeod and Ben Pearson who take up the rest of the podium in the Top Weight group.
After a year-long battle,  David Goode took the Legend title from Ron shone, who never looked like challenging David in this final round.  Third was Kevin O’Neill who enjoyed one of his best races all year.
The drivers now have a month’s summer holiday break before the Grande Finals.  These are scheduled for September 8th and 9th to take place at the Clay Pigeon Raceway in Dorset.
