(unfortunately, Sam Mitchell was unable to attend this meeting) Bradfield cements his 3rd place overall.

In the Formula BLUE class, Joey Foster and Dave Watts also shared the win with 2 points each. Equal 3rd on the day were Kieron Quirke and Tom Parker on 7 points each. Steve Groves finished 5th on 11 points. Foster remains in the overall lead in the BLUE Series, with Watts moving up to 2nd. Anthony Cleal slips to 3rd due to a non-attendance for this round. Mike Bell had a terrible round but remains in 4th place due to his excellent drop option. Paul Alexander, scoring 17 points on the day moves up to 5th in the Championship.
Foster scored 0 points, with a pole to flag win, in the Master sub-class. 2nd was Groves from Chris Lord. Foster now takes the lead in the series from Cleal, Vickery, Alexander and Lord.
It was Groves who won the Veteran group from Lord and Stoddart-Stones. Alexander finished 4th just a few points behind. Kevin O’Neill took 5th place a further 1 point adrift. Despite missing this round Cleal maintains his lead, drawing upon his good drop option. Vickery stays in 2nd position, 1 point ahead of Alexander. Chris Underhill moves up to 4th overall, just ahead of Lord.
It was Chris Lord who won the Legend section by 1 point, from Robin Stoddart Stones, O’Neill took the 3rd spot, from Underhill. Ron Shone rounded up the top 5. In the Championship, Underhill fronts the section from Lord with David Goode in 3rd place. Stoddart-Stones move up to 4th position followed by Shone.
A stunning performance from Tom Parker, with a pole to flag 1st position, gave him the win in the Top Weight group. Phil Shears and Rob Mortimore shared 2nd place with 6 points each. Ben Joseph finished 4th ahead of Shone in 5th. In the Championship Parker takes the lead moving Joseph down to 2nd with Shears in 3rd, Mortimore in 4th and Shone in 5th.
The Championship now has 3 weeks off before moving to the Forest Edge Circuit on 3rd July for round 6, the penultimate round of the series.
