JAMIE WATTS WINS ROUND 2 OF THE INDYBLUE TnT AT DUNKESWELL, HOWEVER, IT IS ANTHONY CLEAL WHO WINS THE 2 ROUND SERIES AND THE £1,000 TORSTER TRAVEL HOLIDAY
It was a lovely warm weekend for the last of the 2024 NKRA controlled Championships, the INDYBLUE TnT. This, in direct contrast to round 1 at Llandow, where it rained all of Sunday.
Racing was entertaining with several battles going on, down the order. At the sharp end, Jamie Watts, from P1 and Anthony Cleal from grid 2, raced for 14 laps with absolutely nothing between them. Indeed Watts won from Cleal by a margin of 0.18 seconds. Cleal however won the Indy Blue Series and the £1,000 Travel voucher from the sponsor Torster Travel. Watts, no doubt rueing that he missed round 1 !
Paul Wheeler finished 7th which was enough to claim 2nd place in the Series, along with a £500 TORSTER TRAVEL prize.
The drive of the day ( outside of the first two) must go to David Waldron, who finished 5th on the day with a best lap time of under 0.3 seconds off the eventual winner !
The prize vouchers, as provided by TORSTER TRAVEL, will be presented at the NKRA presentation evening to which all winners must be present !
