27/01/2016  –  Registration packs for the 2016 NKRA Championships are being sent out over the next few days. Included in these packs are the entry forms for all rounds, including the opening round.   Southern competitors are reminded that it is only 5 weeks to the first  race meeting ( round 1)  at Little Rissington and 4 weeks before entries close.  Should any competitors who has sent in a Registration,  not receive their entry pack by February 8th, please make direct contact on  Tel. 01305 774074 to ensure that their registration has actually been received.  Thank you.

David Branfiled and Sons, a building contractor and plant hire company based in Weston Zoyland Somerset,  are pleased to announce their sponsorship of the 2 Counties Club Championship for 2016.  The sponsorship will take the form of a free typre draw for all competitors who are members at each round.

THE S & B AUTOMOTIVE  ACADEMY  have confirmed  their continued involvement in continuing sponsorship for the Formula Blue class for 2016. Dates for the 2016 club championships have been finalised.
There will be a 6 Round Championship ( 5 to count )  starting in July at Forest Edge.
Also the prestigious Matthew Percy Memorial Race fgor Junior and Formula Blue will take place at the Clay Pigeon Circuit in November.

Kevin Ford was presented at the 2 Counties / NKRA presentation evening with a stunning array of silverware and Gold.
Ford had, by the end of the 2015 season claimed section wins in Blue Master ( runner-up Rob Mortimore) and Blue Veteran ( runner-up David Goode). He won the open Formula Blue class ( Runner-up Luke Lattimer) and also took the outright club Championship. For his efforts the club awarded him a trophy incorporating 10 grams of swiss pure gold.
Robin Stoddart-Stones won the Blue Legend section with Rob Mortimer taking the Blue Top Weights.   Zak Oates won the Cadet Honda Class and Taylor Waldron the Junior Blue class, both also taking away gold bars as prizes.

At a wet ‘end of year’ meeting held at the Clay Pigeon raceway on November 7th, 2 Counties Club members competed for the Matthew Percy Memorial Trophies.
In Junior Blue, Jake Calvert converted his pole into a win,  though Taylor Waldron had closed him down in the latter laps and although he was able to make one move, ran out of laps to make it stick.  In Formula Blue the reigning winner from last year, Martin Wheeler, restamped his authority on the grid and also led from Pole.  He maintained his lead to the flag with Duncan McLod looking the most likely to contest it at the front.  Try as he could, he was unable to get close enough to make a move and had to settle for Runner-up.

Only just under 2 weeks to our Annual Trophy Presentation and Dinner Dance. on 21st November.
Most drivers have already returned their annual trophies from 2014, but there are still a few outstanding.  Once again,  it takes a reasonable amount of time to sort, clean and engrave these trophies prior to the new set of presentations.  Please, would the following drivers return their trophies to Ron Shone at 125 Lanehouse Rocks Road, Weymouth.  DT4 9HY.    THANK YOU.
