NIGEL VICKERY maintains his overall lead in an action packed Final at Dunkeswell.
A sunny weekend at Dunkeswell, saw Nigel Vickery maintain his overall lead in the TABOR CHAMPIONSHIP. Russell O’Neill, finally getting his act together, moves up into 2nd spot with Joey Foster rising up to 3rd. With such a large grid consistancy alone wasn’t enough for Ron shone who slid down from 2nd to 4th overall. Mike Bell closed in on points to sit in 5th place, he is followed by Alex Fortune, now in 6th and Antony Leigh in 7th.
The next scoring round is at LLandow on 13th September.

It’s that time of year again and preparations are being put in place for the 2026 Awards presentation evening. Competitors are requested to return the Annual Trophies, that they hold, from the 2025 Championships. These can be either securely packaged and sent to 125 Lanehouse Rocks Road, Weymouth. DT4 9HY, or alternatively delivered to Julie, at the TABOR Trade trailer at Dunkeswell on Friday , Sat, Sunday 21st to 23rd August.

The entry list for NKRA Formula Blue & Junior Blue will close at Midnight on Saturday 5th September
Late entries may be accepted, subjet to space availability on the grid and will be placed on the back of the grid for all heats. The entries will be capped upon reaching 25.

Entries for what will be the largest Formula BLUE grid of 2026 to date, have now closed.
There is however the option for up to 3 competitors to still enter and take part, but with rear of grid start for the heats.

Having suffered from an ignition related problem in the heats, James Dawkins found the cause and then pulled off a remarkable race in the Final. Starting last, due to the heats’ issues, Dawkins climbed through the grid to take a stunning win. Despite that, it was Russell O’Neill who won the day with a 2 point result, scored from pole and win at the flag. Mike Bell had been in contention, however, a ‘thrown’ chain put paid to podium chances. Nigel Vickery finished 2nd overall with 6 points. In the Championship standing O’Neill increases his lead over Bell and now has a 5 point advantage. Vickery closes in to 3rd overall, only 1 point adrift.
The Masters sub-class portrays a similar table with O’Neill in the lead from Bell & Vickery.
It is Vickery, however, who controls the BLUE Veteran section with a 0 point win over David Waldron.  With 2 race meetings remaining, Vickery leads the Championship by 4 points from Ron Shone, with Waldron in 3rd place.
In the Legend sub-group, Waldron scores with a pole to flag result over Shone and Kevin O’Neill, who shared their points on the day. Shone still leads the Championship with Waldron in 2nd and Kevin O’Neill in 3rd spot.
Shone scored an unopposed win in the Top Weight sub-group and leads from Max Gunter.
There is now a 9 week gap before the next 2CKC round at Clay Pigeon on Saturday September 26th.
The next outing available for the Junior and Formula BLUE Competition is at Dunkeswell on August 23^rd, for Round 5 of the NKRA BLUE Challenge, combined with the S.W. of England Championship.

With a, near flawless, result of only 2 points at the IKR Clay Pigeon race, Russell O’Neill extends his lead in the INDYBLUE TnT Championship. His nearest competitor, Mike Bell, had a disaster in the Final despite qualifying opposite Pole ! A thrown chain the culprit.
2nd on the days’ points was Nigel Vickery who moves up to 3rd overall, only 1 points adrift of Bell, who remains in 2nd place by using his drop option.
Competitors now have some time in which to concentrate on the NKRA’s remaining Regional Rounds, the next ones being at Dunkeswell on 23rd of August and 13th September at LLandow. The next INDYBLUE event takes place at Clay Pigeon on Saturday 26th September.

Russell O’Neill, with a 10 point win, at the Clay Pigeon round of the TABOR Championship, moves up into 3rd place displacing Joey Foster.
2nd on the day was Nigel Vickery, with a score of 8 points, therein extending his lead over Ron Shone who finished 3rd with 5 points. Mike Bell, who threw a chain whilst in 3rd, finished last but remains in 5th spot overall.
The next scoring round takes place on August 23rd at Dunkeswell for Round 5 of the NKRA BLUE CHALLENGE along with the South West Championships.
