TROPHY RETURNS – FORMULA BLUE ‘O’ PLATE

Successul 2025 Champions are requested to return their NKRA Formula BLUE ‘0’ Plate Trophies in order for the relevant engraving to take place prior to presentation to the new (or retained) CHAMPIONS.

The 2026 ‘0’ Plate Championship for Junior and Formula BLUE will take place at Lydd Raceway in Kent, on the 5th April. This also doubles as the opening round for the 2026 NKRA BLUE Challenge.

FREE RESTRICTOR EXCHANGE for FORMULA BLUE

With the release of the 2026 Formula BLUE Weights and Restrictor options, TABOR are offering a free Restrictor exchange, where necessary, until 31st january 2026.
Simply send to Tabor Karting specialist your old Restrictor and advise which one you require in exchange. This facility will be available until 31st January, thereafter, Restrictors will cost £40. There will also be a £10 refund available for any other Formula BLUE Restrictors from earlier periods.

NKRA 2026

The NKRA are pleased to confirm that there will be a substantial prize fund in 2026,
(Pure silver Britania coins) for the NKRA Championship, Regional & National ( Grande Finals).
This, along with the input from Tabor Karting and Torster Travel provides for an up to £ 6,000
fund in the various Formula BLUE competitions, which covers Junior ( 11 – 16 years), Senior ( 16 years plus) Master ( 30 years plus), Veteran ( 45 yerars plus), Legend (60 years plus) and of course the ‘Heavier’ racer in the Top-Weight section ( over 90 kg in full race kit).
This, along with the award of exclusive race numbers for use in 2027, makes for a very impressive array of trophies to add to the high level of competition enjoyed by all racers alike in this National Competition.

NKRA 2026 REGISTRATION UPDATE

Only 24 hours left for the early bird discount (of 25 pounds) for the 2026 NKRA registration.
Also, there are only 8 places left for the formula BLUE class before a reserve list is compiled.
Competitors are reminded that the registration list will remain open after the 1st of December but will be at the full registration fee.

INDYBUE TnT & 2 COUNTIES CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP 2026 FIXTURE LIST

For 2026 the INDYBLUE TnT and the TWO COUNTIES Club championship will run in tandem but for seperate trophies and with seperate scoring systems.

There is a requirement to register for the Two Counties Club Championship, there is not a requirement to enrol for the IndyBlue TnT. Competitors for both competition must, however, be registered with the National Kart Racing Association for 2026. There is a £ 25 early bird discount available ( for NKRA registration) prior to the 1st December 2025. The Registration list will also be limited to the first 25, after which a reserve list will be compiled.

2 COUNTIES CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP 2025

Following the Final Round of the 2 Counties Club Championship, Dean Smithers was able to override a poor result to win the Championship thanks to two earlier flawless rounds.
Second, by virtue of countback was Stuart Gray from Max Gunter in third. Gray crowned a special last race of the season by winning the Matthew Percy Trophy, again from Gunter and again by countback. Fourth in the champs was Mike Bell by one point, from David Waldron.
Smithers also won the Masters sub-class with Gray in second spot and Gunter in third
Gray made it to the front of the Veteran sub-group with Waldron in second and John Hartshorne in third.
It was Gray who claimed the Legend title, from Hartshorne with Ron Shone in third.
Smithers won the Top Weight sub-section from Gunter and Shone to round off a very successful year.

NKRA 2026 CHAMPIONSHIP REGISTRATION NOW OPEN AND FORM AVAILABLE

Driver registration for the 2026 NATIONAL KART RACING ASSOCIATION CHAMPIONSHIP is now available, with registrations already coming in. There is an early bird discount until the 31st November 2025. Competitors, however, should be aware that the list will be capped at 24 competitors ( this may be increased depending upon conditions set by circuits/organisations) Thereafter, a reserve list will be created.
Please note: Drivers may submit their registration form by email or post . The payment details are on the registration form.
