It is with great sadness that we hear of the recent passing of Bill Screech. Bill was a longstanding supporter of the NKRA, Two Counities Kart Club and the Formula Blue Classes. Always there to support and mechanic for his grandson Martin Wheeler and laterly his son-in-law Paul Wheeler.
Such a lovely, kind and generous man, willing to help and lend a hand in the pits and around the race circuits. Many happy memories of evening BBQ’s, at the Kart Circuits, with Bill, Edna and family, sitting outside late into the night reminiscing about karting over the years, always with lots of fun and laughter.
Sending our heartfelt condolences to all the family.
Rest in peace Bill, you will be missed !

Nigel Vickery, gradually coming to terms with his new MAC Kart, scores a maximum of 14 points in the ‘0’ plate race at Lydd race circuit. He now leads the TABOR Championship by 4 points from Ron Shone who with 10 points came 2nd on the day. Joey Foster, ( on his MAC Kart) achived the fastest lap in the Final but sucumbed to a short perion of light drizzle, in the middle of the race, by having an ‘off’ which lost him 3 laps and potentially the win. Mike Bell, on a TABOR prepared engine, also fell foul of the damp conditions and outbraked himself at the end of the main straight but recovered to finish behind Vickery.
The next scoring round is on Saturday 25th April at the Clay Pigeon Raceway for the IKR race meeting, also incorporating the INDYBLUE TnT and the Two Counties Club Championship.

Tabor have organised two pre’ season circuit practice days for Formula BLUE to take place at the Clay Pigeon Raceway on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th of March.
Tabor Karting will be in attendance on both days in support and Clay Pigeon Raceway have advised they will endeavour to ensure a ‘BLUE’ only slot in each practice cycle, according to numbers attending.
The first BLUE event, namely round 1 of the Formula BLUE TnT Series and the 2 Counties Champs round one, is scheduled for Saturday 21st March ( with an optional practice day on Friday 20th March).

Fantastic – it’s happened! The Formula BLUE class has, as of 8th February, reached the point where the NKRA Championship class is full. A reserve list is now open for Formula BLUE competitors. However, the main list remains open for Junior Blue competitors to register.

Please note ! For the INDYBLUE Championship and the 2 COUNTIES Club Championship competitors still need to be registered for the NKRA, however, the registration is not capped.
