BEN PEARSON & JAMES REES  win free sets of racing slicks for Formula Blue.  
The draw took place at the S & B Automotive Academy Formula Blue Challenge Round 3 at Mansell Raceway  on April 29th.   
Competitors are reminded that to be eligible for the FREE TYRE DRAW their entries must be correctly submitted and paid for within 1 Week   ( 7 days)  of the race weekend. 
The closing date for the next meeting (Clay Pigeon on 13th May)  is Friday 4th May .

Jake Calvert, by virtue of Pole Position and race win, claimed the day at Mansell Raceway in the S & B Automotive Academy formula Blue Challenge Series,  recovering from a problematic round 2, several weekends earlier.  His main opposition came from Duncan McLeod, who chased him home from grid 3. 
In the Championship standings, it is still Martin Wheeler who holds the lead,  by virtue of his drop option.  Duncan McLeod leapfrogs his son Mitchell up into 2nd overall, pushing Mitch back into 3rd place.  Ben Pearson had a great weekend, finishing 2nd on the day and moving up to 4th in the Championship.  
In the Master section, Duncan McLeod, with 0 points, moved ahead of Anth Cleal with David Goode charging up from 7th to 3rd. 
Duncan McLeod also leads the Veteran group, again from Cleal and Goode.  
In the Legends sub-class, Goode holds the overall lead from Stuart Gray and Keith Hutton. 
The McLeod men dominate the Top Weight section with son, Mitch,  equal on points with his Father, Duncan.   The two are only separated by the score of their drop options.  3rd in the Series at present is Ben Pearson.
The Series now moves on to Clay Pigeon on the weekend of May 12th and 13th. 

Competitors are reminded that to be eligible for the Free Tyre Draw , their paid-up entry must be received by midnight Saturday 12th April.

A flawless performance from Russell O’Neill at Mansell Raceway on April 29th allowed him to extend his lead in the TABOR CUSTOMER CHALLENGE.  Robin Stoddart-Stones finished 2nd with 14 points and moves up from 14th to 10th place. 
3rd on the day was Ben Pearson who consolidated his 2nd  overall position in the  Tabor Challenge position. Equal 3rd in the standings are Rob Mortimore and David Goode.

NKRA Round 3  and  S & B Automotive Academy Formula Blue Challenge Round 4 

The Clay Pigeon Kart Club have advised that they will be organising on May 11^th , 12^th & 13^th  the  2018 Wessex championships, they have invited the NKRA to also take part in this event.
The NKRA have considered the possibility of this event and following competitor involvement have accepted.
The proposed format will be as follows:  a three day meeting with the following options for NKRA competitors.
1)  Open practice on Friday
2) Two day combined meeting,  Saturday and Sunday for Wessex Championships
3) One day race meeting  ( Sunday)  for NKRA Championships,  round 3

Therefore,   NKRA registered competitors have the  following  entry options:
1) Sunday race  only ( NKRA Round 3)  £55
2) Saturday and Sunday ( Wessex Champs and NKRA Round 3)  £105
3) Friday Practice and Sunday Racing ( NKRA round 3)  £83
4)  Friday practice only  –  paid on the day at the circuit

In a stunning display of controlled driving skills,  Mitch McLeod by virtue of pole position on the grid and 2nd place finish on the track wins at Forest Edge in Round 2 of the S & B Automotive Academy Formula Blue Challenge. 
Martin Wheeler with a 4th place grid start and win on the Final finishes 2nd overall.  The third overall place was secured by Taylor Waldron with a 5th & 3rd set of points. 
Anthony Cleal wins the Master and Veteran sections from Stuart Gray with Dave Waldron  3rd overall.   Gray, however,  wins the Legend group from Ron Shone, David Goode, and Keith Hatton.  
Having already won the Formula Blue class outright, Mitch McLeod also dominated in the Top Weight sub-class.  His impressive pole and wins takes 1st overall from Ben Pearson,  the previous round winner.   Third overall was Rob Mortimore.
The S & B Automotive Academy Blue Challenge now moves on to Mansell Raceway on the 28th / 29th April.

TABOR KARTING will be closed from  Tuesday 17th April and will re-open on Thursday 26th April  at 10 am.  Orders placed by  Friday 13th April will be despatched by Monday 16th April.  

Competitors are advised that entries are now open for the NKRA Regional Championship Round 2, which  includes  Round 3 of  the  S & B Automotive Academy Formula Blue Challenge, to be held at Mansell Raceway on April 28 / 29th.
