NKRA GRANDE FINAL RESULTS 2026

The 2026 NKRA Championship for Junior and Formula BLUE, which started with the BLUE Regional Challenge and ended with the National Grande Finals has now been concluded. The results are provisional for 7 days allowing competitors time to protest the Grande Final Results, if so required.
In a fierce final day’s racing, where the top 6 in the country raced it out to the highest level, positons changed frequently. After 14 laps of intense competition, where the leading group were three and sometimes five abreast, only 1.3 seconds separated the first five at the chequired flag. Jeff Elliss won by 0.3 seconds from Joey Foster, who in turn was 0.5 seconds ahead of Phil Waters. Max Gunter was 4th only 0.2 seconds behind, with Mike Bell a mere 0.1 seconds ( alongside) adrift. An incredible end to a fantastic year’s competition !
Once all the points ( attendance, Final start and Final finish) are brought together, Jeff Ellis is declared the Grande Final winner with 2 points. Joey Foster finishes 2nd with 4 points, Max Gunter 3rd on 7 points. Mike Bell takes 4th with 9 points and Phil Waters 5th on 13 points ( following a count back against Alex Fortune and Stuart Gray.
In Junior BLUE Danny Elson was the clear winner from Harley Drake, who was unfortunately plagued with Electrical issues all day.
With the NKRA Championship racing now over, the prestigous numbers will be announced once the 7 day appeal period is over. Thereafter the racers will congregate at Clay Pigeon on saturday 24th October for the final event of the year. Racing will take place during the day with some involved with the last rounds of the TnT and Two Counties Club Champs, others racing for the ‘Gold’ Matthew Percy Memorial cup. Later in the eveing the ‘Presentation event, including meal with free wine, will take place at the Clay Pigeon Hospitality Suite, for the National Kart Racing Championship, 2 Counties Club Champs, IndyBlue TnT and Tabor Customer Champs. As per existing proceedure and following regulations, winners must be present in order to collect awards. With up to £6,000 worth of prizes plus the annual Trophies and the 2027 Presiteous Number Plates to be presented, it should end up being a special evening.
There are only 12 tickets left, so those still not involved will need to move with all haste. Family and friends are welcome. The evening is heavily subsidised by proceeds from the BLUEBALL competition run during the racing season. There is free parking on site for campers / caravans etc. The George Albert Hotel ( situated on site) is also available for accomodation .
