SHONE WINS TABOR CHAMPS & THE £500 PRIZE FUND
Ron Shone wins the 2025 TABOR CHAMPIONSHIP at the final scoring round at Clay PIgeon on 25th October.  It came down to ‘wheel to wheel’ contact on the last lap, as John Hartshorne got alongside with the the chequered flag almost in sight.  Shone, however, was not about to give it up and hund on to cross the line ahead of his year long arch rival.   Mike Bell, having a poor meeting by his standards, still managed to save 3rd place overall, from a surging Max Gunter who had snatched 4th place and the accompanying £ 200 prizwe from Robin Stoddart-Stones. 
The racing season now over and the  trophies presented, drivers now have a few month’s break in which to service, rebuild and prepare as necessary before the start of next year’s racing season.   Customers using TABOR engine preparation , are reminded that the TABOR engine maintanence section is closed for the winter break as of December 8th.  Drivers intending to use TABOR for engine servicing will need to send / deliver their engine to TABOR by December 1st.
