There will be practice, for those who wish it, on Friday May 7th.
The BLUE CHALLENGE will take place Sunday (9th) and the WESSEX CHAMPS on May 8th & 9th.

The Saturday Race and the Sunday race can be entered for on the Clay Pigeon Club web link. The link for entries is also at the foot of this news brief. Friday practice is entered for at the circuit on the day.
The entry list for Junior & Formula Blue will close at midnight, on Saturday May 1st. However, total numbers may be limited by the host Club. To ensure inclusion, all ‘Blue’ competitors are advised to enter the race forthwith.

Tabor Karting will be in attendance, with their mobile shop at the Clay Pigeon Raceway on the 9th, 10th & 11th April for the Club meeting, including the NKRA & Formula Blue Challenge Round 1 .
Competitors requiring Tyres/spares for all classes, for this event, please order and purchase your requirements in advance prior to 12 noon on Wednesday 7th April, for delivery / collection at the circuit on the race weekend.

However, in this Coronavirus transition period from lock-down, numbers may be limited by the host Club.  Junior and Formula Blue Championship entrants along with the Clay Pigeon Club members have until the 14th March to enter before the list is opened up to non-members. To ensure inclusion, all ‘Blue’ competitors are advised to enter the race forthwith.
If the total race meeting entry is not reached, late entries may be accepted. However, in the case of NKRA registered ‘Blue’ entrants, if accepted, they will be placed at the back of the grid for all heats. All entrants must be registered with the NKRA prior to the closing date.
Please check the Clay Pigeon website for specific Covid requirements that relate to this race meeting. One important criteria for this race meeting is that there will be no overnighting at the circuit, although vans and awnings may be left in situate following practice.

Following government advice on their ‘lock down’ release programme, the opening Two Counties round, which included the Matthew Percy Memorial Race, scheduled for March 14th is cancelled. The Matthew Percy race will now be re-scheduled and included in the June 13th event at Clay Pigeon. The organisers are currently attempting to re-arrange the 2 Counties Club round itself and will advise, on the www.planetkarting.uk website as soon as confirmed.

The Government has revealed it’s programme to return the country, including Karting, from ‘lock-down’ . Karting will re-start from March 29th, although certain measures will still be in place. Other changes, once known, will be posted on the www.planetkarting.uk website.

TABOR is pleased to announce that the latest batch of Formula Blue Maxi Engines will be despatched by the manufacturer, to their premises, during the week ending Feb 26th. All engines in the first batch have been pre-sold and accounted for and they should be ready for collection/despatch during week 9 (ending 5th March). The second batch should be available in week 10 (ending 12th March) and there are currently 9 Engines still available. The third batch should be available for week 11 ( end March 19th).
