TABOR ENGINEERING DEPT. – OPEN FOR 2 WEEKS. MAIL ORDER CONTINUES AS USUAL.
05.11.20The Engine re-build department of TABOR KARTING advises that following the cancellations of the Clay Pigeon race on Nov. 8th, they will be closing earlier for their winter break. ( The mail-order side of the business, will continue as normal).
Many Karters would, under normal circumstances, have given their engines in for a service or re-build after the ‘Percy’ race ( Clay Pigeon Nov. 8th). Obviously, due to Covid 19, this is not possible! As a consequence, for karters who require engine work, prior to next season, TABOR request that engines are delivered to TABOR in Weymouth, by November 11th, in order for the work to be undertaken prior to the engine department’s winter close down.
Please contact Ron on 01305 774074 to arrange.

NKRA TROPHY PRESENTATION FOR FORMULA BLUE POSTPONED, DUE TO THE PRESENT CORONA VIRUS RESTRICTIONS.
02.11.20The Clay Pigeon Kart Club has cancelled their November 8th Race meeting, due to the increased coronavirus restrictions in England. As a consequence, the National Kart Racing Association Trophy Presentation, for Formula BLUE, due to be made at this race meeting will be postponed for the present. An announcement, for a future presentation of the annual awards, will be made as soon as possible on the Planetkarting.uk website, once a stable plan becomes available. However, in view of the current circumstances, this is most likely to be in March 2021. The NKRA would like to thank all the drivers for their continued support and understanding during this past year. Stay safe and see you all next year!

NKRA 2020 TROPHY PRESENTATION TO BE RE-ARRANGED
29.10.20Following Government guidelines and taking into consideration the current state of the Coronavirus outbreak, the National Kart Racing Association regretfully announce that the annual Trophy Presentation evening and Dinner Dance will be cancelled for 2020.

The awards will be presented over a period of race meetings, to which the class or sub-class is involved during the next months. The first group of awards will be presented at the Clay Pigeon Race meeting on Sunday 8th November. This will involve the Formula Blue Class. Contrary to NKRA regulations, yet respecting current circumstances, any driver not able to attend due to any Coronavirus related restrictions will still be given their award at the first mutually available time.
