ENTRIES FOR 2 COUNTIES CLUB CHAMPS ROUND 1 MARCH 1st AT FOREST EDGE

Competitors are advised that entries for round 1 of the 2 Counties Kart Club Championship to be held at the Forest Edge Race Circuit on March 1st are now open to enter on-line. 
The entry list will close at midnight on  Saturday, 22nd February. Entries received after the closing date may still be accepted but will be given a rear of the grid start and pay non-members fees.
All entrants must be paid up members of the 2 Counties Kart Club prior to entering on-line.

2 COUNTIES CLUB – 2020 CHAMPIONSHIP ABOUT TO START

The 2 Counties Kart Club 2020 Championship programme starts at the Forest Edge Circuit on March 1st. The Championship has been given a permit by Motorsport UK.
Competitors are reminded that they must join the 2 Counties Club prior to entering.  Membership forms can be downloaded from the 2CKC page on this website www. planetkarting.uk.

Russell O’Neill wins £500

Russell O’Neill suffered a thrown chain in the Final of the last scoring round of the Tabor Customer Championships at Clay Pigeon. Despite this, his lead was such that he still won overall and claimed the £500 first prize. Serita Shone took the day’s win with 16 points and finished the year in 2nd place, with a prize of £400. Behind her came Robin Stoddart-Stones and David Goode, taking £300 & £200 pounds respectively. Rob Mortimore jumped from 7th to 5th and wins the last prize of £100.
The presentation of awards and trophies takes place at the 2CKC evening on November 23rd. Thereafter, there is a winter break until March of 2020 allowing all racers to ‘chill’ and recharge their ‘batteries’ ready for the new race season.

TABOR ENGINE PREPARATION DEPARTMENT – WINTER CLOSURE DATES

Tabor Karting would like to congratulate Russell O’Neill, Mike Bell, Robin Stoddart-Stones David Waldron and Serita shone for their success in taking the first 5 places in the 2 Counties Club Championships.
They also wish to inform racers, who may want their engines serviced, that the engine department will be closed from December 7th until January 26th. Racers who have already provided their engines for servicing will be able to collect them from the 2 Counties Presentation / NKRA evening on Sat 23rd November. Other racers may bring their engines to the function, for collection by Tabor Karting to avoid carriage fees.
