With the NKRA Regional and BLUE Challenge Championship about to start the NKRA can confirm that the end of year Championship prize fund will be increased to approx £ 3,000.
The prize fund, in the form of solid silver Britannia Coins from the Royal Mint, will be presented, along with the substantial array of annual trophies at a specific awards presentation. This presentation event will be notified shortly.

To enter the Sunday race day at Fulbeck on 20th April. Please email your entry details to mail@planetkarting.co.uk stating your full Name, Class, Race number, telephone contact number and your preferred email address for the signing on link to be sent to you.
Entries ( with entry fee) close 7 days prior to the event, at midnight on Saturday 12th April. Late entries may be accepted but will be placed on the back of the grid for all heats.
(You will be sent a link to sign on for the event by the circuit comp. sec. in the week prior to the event or you can complete signing on at the circuit in person when you arrive).
There will be optional open practice available on Friday and or Saturday 18th & 19th April, this can be paid for at the circuit on the day.
Payment for the Sunday race entry fee is £60 and must accompany your entry , details below:

Successful 2024 Champions are requested to return their NKRA Formula BLUE ‘O’ Plate Trophies in order for the relevant engraving to take place prior to presentation to the new Champions.
The 2025 ‘O’ Plate Championship for Junior and Formula BLUE will take place at the LYDD RACEWAY on the 4th May as part of Round 2 of the NKRA Blue Challenge.

Following circumstances beyond the control of TABOR & the 2 Counties kart club, the INDY BLUE and 2CKC have been compelled to re-arrange their fixture list for the 2025 race season. This does, however, now allow for the inclusion of an extra round which had previously not been available.
The INDY BLUE will now be run over 3 rounds and the 2CKC Club Champs over 4 rounds. The July 6th Round, scheduled for Llandow, will now be held at the Clay Pigeon Raceway on Saturday 26th July.
The Clay Pigeon round on 19th October, will now take place on Saturday 25th October.
The extra round, also at Clay Pigeon, will be on Saturday 27th October.
The two organisations are in the process of updating their championship regulations in accordance with these changes.

Due to circumstances beyond our control with the withdrawal of the IPKC Championship, where we had been allocated the Grande Finals at Whilton Mill in September, the NKRA have made the following alterations to the Championship calendar for the 2025 race season.
The Grande Finals will now be a 2 day meeting, at the Clay Pigeon circuit, on September 6th & 7th,
(previously the ‘no-drop’ round of the Formula BLUE Challenge)
There will also be a new fixture on Saturday June 28th at the Clay Pigeon Raceway.

In view of the fact that the NKRA will not be involved in any rounds at Dunkeswell Raceway in 2025, the grid cap (which applied by DKRC) is no longer relevant. As such, the championship registration limit has been raised from 24 to 28 and the NKRA Championship regulation 1.3.1.1 has been amended accordingly. Taking into account past years’ individual round entries, it is not envisaged that drivers on the current reserved list will be unable to enter. Also, the NKRA resolves to ensure that all registered drivers will be able to compete in the Grande Finals irrespective of any capped limit.

TABOR confirm that there will be a minimum of 2 Junior BLUE test Karts available for Free taster sessions on both Friday 28th and Saturday 29th of March at the Clay Pigeon Raceway. For Cadet or Juniors already practicing there is no charge. However, there may be a £10 Insurance / practice charge per new driver (payable at the circuit on the day). The free test will comprise of a minimum of 10 laps on either day, between 10am and 5pm. Parents or guardians of interested juniors aged between 11 ( or nearly) and 15 are asked to make contact, in advance, to secure a track time slot.
