NKRA BLUE CHALLENGE ROUND 3 RESULTS FROM LYDD
A returning Rudie Winslow-Morten won round 3 of the NKRA Junior BLUE Challenge at Lydd. His pole and win in the Final gave him both the round win plus the Junior Blue ‘O’ plate. Second, on the day but still retaining the overall series lead was Alfie Lenton.
In the formula BLUE class, the day goes to Dave Watts with a Pole position and 2nd place in the Final. He also retains the ‘O’ plate title! The actual Final winner was Stuart Gray, who finished 2nd overall due to his 3rd place start grid. Last month’s first-round winner, Harry Smithson, finished 3rd overall with 5 points and the current number one driver, Anthony Cleal, finished 4th with 8 points. Gray claimed the Master, Veteran and Legend sub-section ‘O’ plates, with Dave Waldron taking the Top Weight ‘o’ plate trophy.
The Championship now moves on to Mansell Raceway, in Devon, for Round 4 at the end of April.
