In the Junior Blue Class, the win went to Jake Calvert after the actual winner Taylor Waldron was excluded for being 0.01kg underweight.

Shake up in the sub-groups of Formula Blue S & B Challenge – Round 5 at Buckmore Park
16.05.16Round 5 – S & B Automotive Academy Formula Blue Challenge at Buckmore Park on May 15th.
Ian Branfield returned to his best to claim the win in Formula Blue. Anthony Cleal finished 2nd with a 3rd grid start and 2nd over the line. It is Cleal, however, who maintains his lead in the Challenge with Branfield now taking up the contest in 2nd place.
Cleal’s win in the Blue Master section helped him to extend his lead over Kevin Ford, who moves up into 2nd spot.
In the Veteran group, Ford takes the lead with his ‘on the day’ win, leapfrogging Duncan McLeod.
David Goode continues his fine form with a win in the Legend section and , in so doing, takes over the top spot from Robin Stoddart-stones.
Branfield’s Stirling performance on the day, also gave him the win in the Top Weight section, promoting him from 4th place up to the lead position. His lead is, however, tenuous in that behind him by 1 point sits Cleal, with Duncan McLeod also only 1 point behind that.
Round 6, brings the Challenge back to Forest Edge on 3rd July

Waldron & Cleal Win Rnd. 4 of the S & B Automotive Academy Formula Blue Challenge
02.05.16Anthony Cleal, after a disastrous round 3 , at LLandow, turned it around with a pole to flag win at Forest Edge. Conversely, Matty Help who had a cooling pump failure, upon recognising an engine temperature rise hand choked his engine home to 2nd place.

BRANFIELD, GRAY & CALVERT RETAIN THE ‘0’ PLATE TITLES FOR 2016
18.04.16Jake Calvert retained the Junior Blue trophy albeit against a weakened grid.
In Formula Blue, the existing title holders Ian Branfield, ( Open and Top Weight) and Stuart Gray( Master, Veteran and Legend) produced the race of the day. These two broke away from the chasing group with only Paul Giles (first outing since moving from Easykart) staying in contact. On the penultimate lap, Branfield and Gray came down the straight side-by-side, but, it was Branfield who emerged in front and held off the absolute intentions of Gray over the final lap, to take the flag by 0.2 of a second ! Gray, however, did not come away empty handed as he won the Master, Veteran and Legend sections.
